Aimed to help the people living in many of the poorest areas of India and from underprivileged section searching & fighting for a sustainable source of livelihood, Aapkisewa has started various projects of Skills Training for a sustainable livelihood options for the poor. Each Skill Training project is attuned to local needs, through an initial need assessment, wherein the local needs are identified and the final design and outcomes of the project are decided. Training programmes on skill development are implemented, to help improve the employability of the working population including school drop-outs, semi-skilled and un-skilled workers. These programmes include vocational training and digital literacy. One of the basic objectives of these programmes is empowerment of the most vulnerable sections of the community and strengthening the capacity of the poor to achieve secure livelihoods.
